All dolls came with tags.
All tags have Mattel Inc 1985
plus they have another set of numbers
There are 4 numbers then 2 letters.
Some times its one letter & one number. See the Canadian tag to the far right.
The fourth number tells us the year the doll came out.
Above doll would have come out in 1987
Aussie 87 dolls had straight bangs.
Above doll would have come out in 1988
Aussie 88 dolls had curly bangs.
The Canadian dolls came out with two tags, See the photo on the left.
They were the only dolls with two tags.
The 4th number also tells the year the doll came out. This tag tell us this doll would have come out in 1986.
