The night before Christmas It was frosty and cold When My Childs met, and their story was told They got out their blankets and found a good place to rest and be silent and listen in grace They learnt of the joy That My Childs could send To children at Christmas who are needing a friend A new home they'd receive and a big squeezy hug A child is happy with a new friend to love Now the child is older poor My Child is sad Forgotten and dirty no more fun to be had Another new owner a new life can start with a wash and a scrub and a new loving heart My Child like new with more love to give just like Jesus at Christmas A new life to live.

	The photos on either side I did for a club competition. The photo on the right is an old black and white from back in the 70's. I am the little girl with the stick in her hand! The photo on the left is from a place in the South Island of New Zealand.

She is off to the USA to live with her new family. A nice party given to her by her friends.
